The Half-Hearted Disciple

What does it take to be a half-hearted disciple? Glad you asked, well here we go.

First of all go to church, and make sure everyone sees you. Go and shake some hands, give some hugs. Make it look real good. After church you have the whole week off to do whatever you want.

The next thing you need to do in order to be the half-hearted disciple you always dreamed you could be, is to hone you listening skills...block out everything that you don't like. I talked about this on wednesday night, but I didn't really emphasize how much self-love plays a part in my life. To be honest with you, my actions say that I love myself more than I love God...and that needs to change. Think about what makes you mad, if you only get angry about inconviences and setbacks against you then that means you have a self-loved problem just like me.
